We are in the midst of planning for the Festival on Main to be held on the square in downtown Granite Falls, Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Granite Falls Merchants’ Association is looking for vendors with handmade items, ceramics, wood, and tin workers, etc. along with food vendors to join this year’s festival.
New this year, you can complete your application online and pay by debit or credit card (there is a processing fee for this option) or complete the paper application. Please complete the application and submit along with your non-refundable entry fee which must be submitted and paid to guarantee your selling space for the artist or craftsman. All food vendors (including non-profit organizations) using flammable equipment like stoves, grills, and fryers, must supply their proof of liability insurance and Mobile Vendor Permit or Temporary Food Establishment Permit to the festival organizers by August 31, 2025, and abide with Caldwell County Health Department regulations. Proof of insurance and permit can be sent with the application or emailed to festivalonmain@granitefallsnc.gov if you do not have it at the time of application. Please see the application form for details concerning setup and logistical information.
Spaces are limited, so return your application as soon as possible to reserve your spot. Applications, Entry Fees, and Proof of Insurance must be received by August 31, 2025.
Exhibit spaces will be numbered on a first come, first served basis after the pre-registration and receipt of your entry fee. Spaces will be approximately 16 feet wide (along the street) by 12 feet deep. All exhibitors are asked to please send a photograph of their work along with their entry fee (unless you are a previous vendor). Space numbers will be given when you check in on the afternoon of the festival.
Check-in time on the day of the festival will begin at 12:00 pm, no earlier. You may arrive at any time that is convenient for you but do not park in the square area of downtown, we have provided you with spaces as close as possible to leave your vehicles after setting up. You may use this area if you arrive prior to 12:00 pm. The town maintenance department will not start blocking the streets until 12:00 pm. Set-up time will be from 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm. Vehicles must be outside of the exhibit area by 1:45 pm. We ask you to keep your booth open until 8:00 pm. Your items must be removed at the end of the festival. No items can remain for pick up later. This includes trailers. This is for your safety as well as others.
All participants agree not to hold Granite Falls Merchants’ Association or any institution or government agency responsible for loss, injury, damage or theft of their property or persons.
All vendors will be approved by a committee. If you are not sure of the nature of your craft or if you have a combination of accepted work and non-accepted work, please call us. Be assured we will work with you in any way possible. If you complete your application online and the committee does not approve your submission, your application fee will be refunded. We need you; your exhibit is the reason we will be successful. For more information, please contact the Town Office at 828.396.3131 and ask to speak to Crystal Bollinger.
