Becoming a Volunteer

Being a volunteer with Granite Falls Fire Department can be fun and rewarding.  To apply to become a volunteer: fill out the application and print it, visit the station and introduce yourself, attend four Monday night meetings, and the membership will vote on your membership status.

Being a volunteer not only offers an exciting hobby or career but the State of North Carolina gives volunteers a retirement program after providing 20 years of service.  If you are interested in giving back to your community stop by or give us a call.
